So, myself and two friends recently got back from cycling from Southampton to Barcelona. We did this partly for charity and partly for the pure adventure. We ended up raising well over £4000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and we had a great time cycling through France and Spain - particularly in the Pyrenees.
The next challenge is to cycle from Monaco to Sicily. This will be every bit as challenging as the Southampton to Barcelona ride, we intend to cycle down the west coast if Italy and from what I've been told, It's full of hills.
We haven't set a date for this challenge yet, but I'm hoping to get something concrete soon. I wanted to set a blog up as it makes it feel a little more real. It's amazing how quickly the feet get itchy!
